Each piece is made to order in close collaboration with our clients, with careful attention to material, proportion, and the space it is made for. This website is owned and operated by Saint Malo Designs LLC as “Saint Malo Designs” (or “we” or “us” or “our”). Please read these conditions carefully before using the website www.saintmalodesigns.com (the “Website”) or any Service (defined below) provided therein. By using the Website through any device including but not limited to any computer terminal or mobile device, you agree to comply with the following Website terms and conditions of use as well as any other laws or regulations which apply to this website. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, at any time. Saint Malo Designs reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Your continued use of the Website after such changes constitutes acceptance.

Etsy Shop Purchases

Products purchased through our Etsy shop (saintmalodesigns.etsy.com) are governed by Etsy's Terms of Service and our shop policies as listed on Etsy. This includes shipping, returns, and customer service for those purchases.

Currency & Shipping

All products, including custom orders, are priced and sold in USD only. We manufacture and sell exclusively within the United States.

Nature of Products

We strive to display our products as accurately as possible. However, please note: Colors may vary slightly due to screen settings and the handmade nature of our products; Each piece is handcrafted, so slight variations in finish and appearance are part of the character of handmade goods; Product photos and descriptions are representative but may not capture every detail; Fabric and paint color availability may change; we will work with you to find suitable alternatives if your first choice is unavailable.

Custom Orders

Order Process: Custom orders are made to order and created in close collaboration with each client. The process typically involves: Initial consultation to discuss your vision, measurements, and material preferences, selection of fabrics and finishes, confirmation of product specifications, processing and delivery time, and pricing, payment via custom order payment link, and production and delivery.

Payments: For custom orders placed through our website, payment is processed via secure payment links sent directly to you. Payment in full is typically required before production begins unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. If a purchase order cannot be fully paid prior to production, we require a 50% deposit of total pricing.

Production Time: Each piece is handcrafted to order. Production times vary depending on the complexity of the project and current studio schedule. We will provide an estimated timeline during the consultation process. Please note that handmade items may take several weeks to complete.

Cancellations & Changes: Because each item is custom-made specifically for you, we cannot accept cancellations or changes once production has begun. If you need to cancel your order, please contact us immediately at hello@saintmalodesigns.com. Cancellation policies will be determined on a case-by-case basis depending on the stage of production.

Parties & Events

Saint Malo Designs offers workshops and events. Specific terms, including cancellation policies, payment terms, and participation requirements, will be provided when you book an event. By registering for an event, you agree to those specific terms in addition to these general Terms and Conditions.

Intellectual Property

Certain content on this website, including photographs, product designs, text, graphics, and logos, is the property of Saint Malo Designs and is protected by United States and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without explicit written permission. Our designs, techniques, and product creations are the intellectual property of Saint Malo Designs. While you own the physical item you purchase, the design rights remain with Saint Malo Designs.

Photography & Social Media

We may photograph commissioned work for our portfolio and social media. If you prefer your custom piece not to be featured, please let us know at the time of ordering. We respect your privacy and will honor your preferences.

Shipping & Delivery

For custom orders arranged through our website, shipping details and costs will be discussed during the consultation process. We carefully package each item, but will do our best if damage occurs during shipping. Please inspect your item upon delivery and contact us immediately if there are any issues.
